Arcadia Company S.r.l. is an independent investigation agency based in Sesto San Giovanni, on the edge of Milan. Since 2017 we have worked alongside private individuals, families, law firms and companies who need one thing above all: solid evidence, gathered lawfully and able to withstand a judge's scrutiny. We do not sell suspicions or impressions — we deliver evidentiary documentation, built to hold up against challenge.
A licensed agency, not an improvised one
Private investigation in Italy is a regulated profession. Arcadia Company operates under the prefectural licence required by art. 134 of the Consolidated Public Security Act (R.D. 773/1931) — registration MIN. INTERNO no. MI-14120/12B15E — and in full compliance with Ministerial Decree no. 269 of 1 December 2010, which governs the requirements, operating methods and limits of licensed investigation agencies. Choosing a licensed agency is not a formality: it is the only way to obtain usable evidence. Do-it-yourself activity, or work carried out by unlicensed parties, produces material that is often inadmissible in court and may constitute a criminal offence for whoever commissions it.
Certified quality and data protection
Our management system is certified to the ISO 9001:2015 standard, guaranteeing traceable, repeatable and verifiable processes. Every assignment is handled in compliance with EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Italian Privacy Code: for each case we weigh the legitimate interest of the client against the protection of the people involved, following the criteria of the Data Protection Authority and the case law of the Court of Cassation on defensive monitoring. We are also a member of FEDERPOL, the Italian Federation of Investigation, Information and Security Institutes.

The people behind Arcadia Company
An agency is only as good as the people who lead it. At the helm of Arcadia Company is Stefano Povia, Chief Executive Officer, an instructor at the National Shooting Range (TSN) in Milan and the holder of multiple technical, operational and security certifications. His experience combines training expertise with the strategic management of the agency: the same standards of rigour and precision he teaches in the field are those by which we assess every assignment.
The prefectural licence that authorises our investigative work is held by Bruno Roberto Tozzi, whose background was forged in the Carabinieri and the Italian Army. His years of service within the institutions of the State instilled the discipline, method and command of procedure that today form the foundation of our approach. It is the meeting of this institutional security culture with our team's technical expertise that gives Arcadia Company the solidity our clients can rely on.

How long have you been operating and where are you based?
We have been operating since 2017. Our offices are in Piazza Don Enrico Mapelli, 60 in Sesto San Giovanni (MI), on the edge of Milan. We handle assignments throughout Italy.
Is the evidence you gather usable in court?
Yes. Evidence gathered by a licensed agency, within the limits of the law and to protect a legitimate interest, is admissible as documentary evidence in civil, criminal and employment proceedings. The Court of Cassation has repeatedly confirmed its legitimacy. Our investigators are available to testify in court.
Who do you work for?
